When you text Lucille, we collect:

• Your phone number — to identify your conversation and send replies
• Your messages — to generate AI responses and maintain conversation context
• Timestamps — to manage message history and auto-deletion

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, or any other personal information.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI-powered responses to your text messages
• To maintain conversation history so the AI can provide contextual replies
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse

AI Processing

Your messages are processed by AI models running on local, private hardware. They are not sent to third-party cloud AI services like OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic. AI inference happens entirely on our own equipment.

Data Retention

• Conversation history is automatically deleted after 30 days
• You can text DELETE MY DATA at any time to immediately erase all your data
• Deleted data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party. Your messages pass through Twilio (our SMS provider) for delivery — see Twilio's Privacy Policy.

Data Security

Conversations are stored in an encrypted database on secured infrastructure. Access is limited to system administrators for maintenance purposes only.

Your Rights

• Opt out — text STOP to stop receiving messages
• Opt back in — text START to resume
• Delete your data — text DELETE MY DATA for immediate removal
• Contact us — email [email protected] with any privacy questions

Children

Lucille is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
